Flow Thermal Friction Drill
Friction drill is also called flow drill, thermal drill（fließbohren, vloeiboren, wiercenie termiczne, термосверло, foratura a flusso, fluoperçage, fluofuração, is made from tungsten carbide, as its name, use the friction between the drill bit and the metal to generate heat energy, thereby forming a required bushing,this bushing is designed to replace weld, pessed & rivet nuts.
The standard diameter of friction drills are 1.8mm-25.4mm, can be used to work on metal thickness from 0.8mm to 10mm.
The usage of friction drills are mostly used on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, and aluminum and other ductile metal materials.
The types of friction drills are mainly divided into four types：short friction Drill , long friction Drill, short flat friction Drill, long flat friction Drill.
